Membership · Physician-led
At Paragon, hormone therapy starts with measurement. Replacement is offered when clinically indicated, decided with you by Rachel Cushman, PA-C, and monitored for as long as you’re on it. Part of Ascent and Pinnacle membership.
01 · How we think about it
One hormone result doesn’t explain every symptom, so your physician reviews your history, medications, sleep, nutrition and relevant labs. Any treatment discussion covers benefits, risks, alternatives and follow-up. A test result is not a promise of a prescription.
02 · How it runs
Total testosterone by mass spectrometry and free testosterone by dialysis, FSH, LH, prolactin, DHEA-S, SHBG, and TSH with both active thyroid hormones and antibodies. Women’s panels add estradiol; men’s add PSA, total and free.
Your physician reads them with your 80+ other biomarkers, body composition, strength, sleep and history, and writes the findings into your Blueprint.
If treatment is clinically indicated, Rachel Cushman, PA-C walks you through the options, monitoring and trade-offs. Nothing starts without that conversation.
The panel repeats at every evaluation (up to twice a year on Ascent, up to four times on Pinnacle) and the plan adjusts to the results.
03 · What we will not do
Hormone care is included in Ascent and Pinnacle; medication costs are separate.
We don’t start hormone therapy from a single lab or from symptoms alone.
Response varies. We tell you what we measured, what we expect and when we’ll check.
