Paragon’s Compass Assessment is a comprehensive health assessment and executive-physical alternative in Scottsdale: 80+ biomarkers and a testing day, read by Taylor Cushman, MD, MSc and written into your Paragon Blueprint.
01 · What it involves
80+ biomarkers across hematologic, metabolic, cardiovascular, glycemic, thyroid, sex hormone, adrenal, nutritional, iron, toxicology, autoimmune and renal systems, drawn at home by a phlebotomist at a time you choose.
Half a day at the clinic: VO₂ max and resting metabolic rate measured directly on the VO2 Master analyzer, a Styku 3D scan and force-plate strength, power and balance.
Your physician reads it all with your history and prior records, then writes your plan with findings, priorities and targets.
02 · How it compares
The Blueprint explains your results alongside your history and priorities, to guide a conversation about next steps. Bring questions and existing results; which tests to run or repeat, and what follow-up you need, are individual clinical decisions.
03 · Where it fits
How measured fitness can inform your training.

Compass is built for people who want the reading, not the report. One physician, Taylor Cushman, MD, MSc, reads your labs, fitness and body composition together and writes your Blueprint.
Your blood is drawn at home: a phlebotomist comes to you at a time you choose. The testing day is half a day at our Scottsdale office, 7500 N Dobson Rd, Suite 101.
Blood work comes first, then the testing day. Your Blueprint follows three to six weeks after your blood draw.
